Drawing inspiration from the diverse natural elements of the great Western United States, Matt Schmitt strives to create art that captures the natural light and feel of the incredible landscapes he discovers.

Born in Indiana, Matt has been traveling around the United States, and the world, in some way or another since he was 18. In Spokane, Washington he found the perfect mix of urban, nature, and proximity to the wilderness of the West. Matt is constantly striving to encourage and empower more people to see, feel, and ultimately help protect our natural landscapes and public lands.
